| Ingredients |

| 6 Chicken Drumstick OR | |||
| 3 Chicken breasts | |||
| 2 medium, sliced Onion | |||
| 2 tbsp Tomato Puree | |||
| 1 tsp Mustard seeds | |||
| 2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder | |||
| 3 tsp Coriander Powder | |||
| 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder | |||
| 3 tbsp Cooking Oil | |||
| 1 bunch Coriander | |||
| Salt to taste | |||
| 300mls Water | |||

| Method | ||

1.

Make 2-3 small slits on each chicken drumstick, | |
| or if using chicken breasts cut the breasts into cubes. | ||

Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and once the seeds | |
| start to spluttering, add the sliced onions. | ||
|
3.

Fry the onions until they turn golden brown, | |
| next add the tomato puree and the rest of the spices. | ||
| Cook the mixture until the oil leaves the side of the pan. | ||
|

Now Add the chicken drumsticks/breasts and mix with the spices and season. | |
|

Add water and cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 20 min | |
| on a medium heat. | ||
|
6.
|
Once the curry is cooked remove from the heat add the chopped coriander | |
| and serve with plain boiled rice and chapattis. | ||
