Ingredients |

300g fresh squid |
|

3 medium onions, finely
sliced |

3 cloves of garlic,
minced |
| |

8 green chillies, 4
minced, 4 sliced in two |

2 tbls white wine
vinegar |
| |

1/4 tsp turmeric |
| |
|
1/2 tsp cumin powder |
| |
|
1/2 tsp ground black
pepper |
| |
|
1/2 tsp salt |
|

1 tbls vegetable oil |

Method |

Clean
the squid and cut into evenly sized pieces. |

Place
the squid, garlic, minced chilli, vinegar, turmeric, cumin powder
and |

salt
in a bowl. Mix everything together well and place in the
fridge for 1 hour. |

Heat
the oil in a wok or frying pan on a high heat, add the onions
and stir fry |

for
2 minutes. |

Next
add the marinated squid with all the juices and the black pepper,
cook |

on
a high heat for around 5 minutes. |
