Crab like you've never tasted, a finger licking good curry,
and yes you will get your hands messy eating this tasty dish!

  1kg Crabs- cleaned with shells on  
  6 Garlic cloves, minced
Crab Masala
  1" Ginger, minced
  2 Green Chillies, slit
  ½ tsp Tamarind pulp or paste
  1 Tomato, chopped
  2 Shallots, finely chopped
  1 Sprig Curry Leaves
    1 Small dry red chilli
    1 tsp Garam masala
    ½ tsp Turmeric
    ½ tsp Chilli powder  
    Salt to taste

    1 tbls Vegetable Oil
    300ml Water
    A small bunch of Coriander leaves
Heat the oil in a pan; add curry leaves and red chilli. Cook for 30 seconds.
Next the ginger and garlic and cook for a 2 minutes.
Now add the chopped onions and cook until soft and transparent.   
Add green chillies, garam masala, turmeric and salt, stir and cover.
If you are using the tamarind pulp make a paste with some warm water and
add this to the pan as well, cook for 2 minutes.    
Add the chopped tomatoes, the uncooked crab and mix well.
Add the water and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, until the crab is cooked.   
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve Hot with rice.
