Pakoras |

These
pakoras maybe fattening, but they are so morish! |

Ingredients | |||
500g Cauliflower | |||
250g Gram flour | |||
1tsp Fresh ginger, crushed | |||
1tsp Fresh green chillies, crushed | |||
½ tsp Garm masala | |||
¼ tsp Turmeric | |||
Salt | |||
Water | |||

Method | ||

Cut the cauliflower into florets, cut any large florets into bit size pieces. | |
Par boil the florets and let them go cold. | ||

In a large bowl make a batter of the gram flour and water, using just | |
enough water to give you a medium thick batter. | ||

Add to the batter the ginger, chilli, garm masala, turmeric and salt, | |
mix everything well. | ||

Heat oil for deep frying, dip each floret into the batter and fry until golden brown. | |
Make sure that you stir the batter between each batch so that all the spices | ||
remain well mixed and don't sink to the bottom. | ||
Tip - If you have any batter left, slice an onion into thick rings. | ||
Dip into the batter and deep fry. Yummy!! |
